The 2025 PointsBet Invitational Curling kicks off Wednesday at Calgary’s WinSport Event Centre, featuring many of Canada’s top curling teams eyeing a spot at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The opening draw at 3:30 p.m. ET showcases Team Brad Gushue of St. John’s, N.L., competing in what he has confirmed will be his final season.
Joining them are the men’s and women’s rinks qualified for the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, along with three extra squads: the top CTRS team not in the Trials, the highest-ranked NextGen Under-27 team, and the reigning Canadian Under-20 champions.
