The best collegiate beach volleyball players are hitting the sand this weekend in search of the 2024 NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball National Championship. The three-day event gets underway on ESPNU and ESPN+ on Friday, May 3 at 9 a.m. ET with an opening-round dual between No. 16 North Florida and No. 17 Chattanooga.
The winner will advance into the full bracket, headlined by the No. 1 USC Trojans. The rest of the single-elimination duals will take place on Friday, with the quarterfinals and semifinals happening on ESPN2 on Saturday before the championship match airs on ESPN on Sunday, May 5. Over three days in Gulf Shores, Alabama, the ESPN family of networks will broadcast all of the action from the 2024 NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Championship. All of the first-round duals will air on ESPNU, then the quarter and semifinals will move to ESPN2, with ESPN taking over for the championship match.
Calling all of the action will be a pair of commentating teams. First, Courtney Lyle and Olympic bronze medalist Holly McPeak will lead the coverage with Andraya Carter reporting from the sand. Then, Sam Gore will be joined by beach volleyball Olympian Nicole Branagh in the booth with Madison Fitzpatrick on the sideline.
